  1. So far. The nam is showing more QPF for the western part of the state.
  2. Looking at the flow west, the HRRR didn’t have that solution at all until the 18Z run. That’s a positive in the ugly trend.
  3. Also TX, I Think Colorado airport set the record for temperature drop in a hour. Going from 47• to 1•. I saw a couple of post that showed a 60 degrees change in feel like temperature..
  4. Im curious to see how MRX will adjust seeing how strong the front is now. The HRRR is at hour 22 and it finally shows the cold ahead of the front. Precip field seems to still hold.
  5. Euro has been trending southward every so slightly every run. HRRR has the low more south as well.
  6. Albeit I hate that this cold could be disastrous for some, I’m excited to track it as it moves into the area; Mostly to see the battle of cold air rushing off the plateau into the Valley.
  7. You know the guys up in Morristown are stressing right now on issuing anything. If we had just a tad bit more moisture available we’d fall under blizzard criteria even with 2-3 inches.
  8. Seeing those temperatures drop in Montana brings hope that they won’t.
  9. I’m still weary on the models not handling how quick the temperatures will drop. We are going to have some really breezy conditions Mid-Thursday in Friday morning. I’d be happy with a dusting at this point though.
  10. Definitely going to stay up late to catch the next GFS. It’ll be interesting to see if it follows its current trend or flips back.
  11. Playing with the sounding and these potential wind speeds are going to bring bone chilling wind chills.
  12. Looks like the second system (26th-27th)is setting up nicely with that run too.
  13. Looks impressive! Radar is starting to show it changing over now, even for the lower valley.
  14. Sleet mixed in for a quick second than changed back over to rain. Seems like the warm nose won’t prevail this time.
