Definitely. That type of snow that just piles up. We can't miss this year. Even the storm that never had more than 3" otg once was officially recorded as 9.1"
Very dangerous out right now. Roads haven't been touched. Had about 2" at the airport when I left. Cars stranded all along 376. Accidents. Shocked I made it home.
That storm was just an entirely different beast. I'll never forget the look of those flakes. Smallish but fast and furious. I remember measuring 6", taking a 2 hour walk and coming back to close to 10". Was blown away considering the flake size.
Was actually one of my favorite storms. I was amazed myself that how much it accumulated with the sun angle and the 10" was the most I measured since 2010 lol. Definitely more concerned about the dry air rather than low rates accumulating.
