  1. Has to be close to 4" out there. Too cold to do an actual measurement lol. Coming down good.
  2. Definitely. That type of snow that just piles up. We can't miss this year. Even the storm that never had more than 3" otg once was officially recorded as 9.1"
  3. I had to laugh when the second I made it home I saw my first plow of the entire drive
  4. Very dangerous out right now. Roads haven't been touched. Had about 2" at the airport when I left. Cars stranded all along 376. Accidents. Shocked I made it home.
  5. Exactly. So far this has been a great winter on every front. An all around true winter so far.
  6. Everything about this storm was strange. Including the official total lol
  7. Took the entire day but those heavier returns have finally made to the city lol.
  8. I was there around 6 and it was getting real dicey. Tons of cars on the road too. I'm not shocked.
  9. Curious what washington county looks like. That blog has been nearly stationary for hours now.
  10. That storm was just an entirely different beast. I'll never forget the look of those flakes. Smallish but fast and furious. I remember measuring 6", taking a 2 hour walk and coming back to close to 10". Was blown away considering the flake size.
  11. 24 hours and on the first day of spring. I'm expecting a very similar storm here.
  12. It was definitely a longer storm but the point is I don't think there's any need to worry about low rates accumulating over duration.
  13. Was actually one of my favorite storms. I was amazed myself that how much it accumulated with the sun angle and the 10" was the most I measured since 2010 lol. Definitely more concerned about the dry air rather than low rates accumulating.
  14. Again, we had a 8-10" storm 3 years ago that had light rates over duration. This fell in mid March.
  15. Crazy how similar the HRRR and the 18z euro are. I thought I was looking at the same model for second.
  16. I always thought this too until I saw us get 10" in the middle of March the same way a few years ago.
  17. It's brutal. They butchered last storm as well. Dropped the expected for absolutely zero reason when all models were showing over 6"
  18. Funny you mention that, was thinking the same thing to myself last night. Seems like every time there's a chance for snow it's doing so to it's full potential.
  19. Wish it was lol. If it's going to be cold and dry I'd much rather have warmth in the time being. The older I get the less I appreciate the cold hah.
  20. I would love some lake effect days. Those random whiteouts are always some of the best. Felt like we had none at all last year.
  21. That changed quickly. Read articles last week saying this was the upcoming pattern was the best since 96' lol.
