    Wound down to the light and showery flakes at this point. We were really getting uncle vinced for a good while but it just wasn’t cold enough for stacking up. Instead we just ended up with a couple inches of goo and it’s gonna get real icy overnight

    Still ripping good here. Got about 2 inches of slop. Still a fascinating storm but I feel like we will total out at about 3-4 inches max... which is enough considering the 3 power flickers we’ve had

    It’s a little ways down from there but not too far! We also have about 3/4 inch now it’s more than this photo cuz that was ten minutes ago. It’s very pasty and branches are crashing. Heavy snowfall rates, and it didn’t change over her until 12:10pm

    Theoretically it can be dangerous but I would thing you’d need to go higher than 400 feet up like you did, unless you’re right next to an airport?

    My sister reports “Chunky Rain” at 600 ft in Coventry CT Willimantic at 230’ is solid rain still.

    I was living in Ledyard ct for that 2003 storm. We kinda got dry slotted, ended up with 8 inches. Not exactly a screw zone but I digress as it seemed like everyone else in every direction got more. I was 19 years old.
