    Don’t think I’d put much stock in anything other than the seeming fact that the “thaw” ain’t gonna last long. They’ll never get the precip right, yet. Personally I hope it looks awful until 48 hours out and then a 6” snow shows up.

    On a side note … love the new Tropical Tidbits. Much better maps there IMO. Now with Euro maps I probably won’t go anywhere else … unless it’s faster somewhere else and I’m trying to beat Randy lol

    I’ll never understand this mentality. I want all storms shown on gfs, plus one or two surprises events, plus all the storms after that for 6 weeks.

    True. But, and I think you’ll agree, modeled solutions and reality will diverge the further out in time you go. Reality will either be better or worse than what is modeled at say day 5. Rarely will it be the same. So why does it seem that reality is seldom better than what was modeled? You’d think it would go both ways but seemingly does not.
