    Key takeaway here is the gfs is progressing the cold. If you want snow, the further it progresses the deeper the cold gets.

    It’s not chasing it this time. Precip is slamming straight into it. Question is where will the cold be when the slam happens.

    Those 850’s will trail this by a bit. If we can get those then I’d say Richmond would be looking at an ice storm

    Just toggle the last four gfs runs at 90 and 96 hours. That’s all that needs to be said.

    That’s a 75-100 mile push at 850. That’s not at all insignificant in this setup.

    Let’s put this out there and be done with it … the UKIE is never right. Use that as the baseline from which you run all experiments.
