  1. Haha, none. You have a better chance of an asteroid hitting and bringing the dinosaurs BACK.
  2. 2 things. 1) nothing works every time 2) some of us don’t measure a winter only by above average snowfall. Moderate to strong anything can bring great or awful. I’ll sacrifice “huge” for consistent any day.
  3. I think you have that backwards. Lets see why Chuck thinks.
  4. Move away from the light …
  5. I’m a believer that neutral is the best for the types of winter that I want. From -0.5 to 0.5. More consistently wintry.
  6. Did someone hack your account? Someone close to me? Lol
  7. I’ve done that drive also. Camped once I got over the peak and couldn’t sleep thinking about having to go back over the mountain the next morning
  8. For a truly harrowing experience you should drive up there. Did it once and I’ll never do it again.
  9. 2.1? That’s like a loud fart lol.
  10. Really? You were? I sent the post to the NSA cryptology department for deciphering.
  11. Sounds pretty outrageous to me. The installation of something like that should be pretty straightforward and you probably could do it yourself if you have any construction experience.
  12. Hopefully WVU ends up in the ACC … where they should have been all along.
  13. So far for July this post isn’t coming to fruition
  14. I’ll go with low temps, low dews, and no rain until September. I couldn’t care less if the grass turns brown lol.
  15. Kinda interesting that you chose winters of 16-17, 19-20 which were not years with western drought (according to your first map) and did not include the winter of 12-13 or 18-19 which did follow a western drought. I would say that I’m confused but I really am not. It’s pretty clear what you are doing.
  16. I heard Stephens City got crushed. Any truth to that?
  17. Think your rain gauge is broken. Try a soup can lol
  18. Dude just how much rain do you feel you should get? I watch radar too and have a pretty good feel in how much it’s rained out there the past few weeks.
  19. I don’t think there’s any rational basis for a statement like this. Emotional maybe. There were some lame winters in the early 70’s, seemingly all through the 80’s and the early 90’s. We had decent to good winters 2 of the last 3 years so I don’t think I’ll jump on the “it’s over forever” train just yet.
  20. In other matters, this weather sucks
  21. Believe it or not, some of us teachers suffer from the same thing. I know I don’t like it when I start feeling that I, instead of the topic at hand, have become the focus of attention. I do have one too that might help. Ask a question if the group. Early. Maybe make them write out a question or two to pose to the group. Do something that takes the focus off of you and places it squarely on the topic. Pretty soon you find yourself in a conversation that seems normal to you and you forget all about the fact that it is you delivering the knowledge. Hope it goes well.
