KOKV has recorded one 90° day all year.

I think the temperature plays a role in how loud they are. Obviously they are on the way down but I noticed yesterday they were silent all morning but once we got near 70 degrees they became quite noticeable.

Mowing grass high accomplishes a lot. You will mow less because the grass will grow slower. You will have more moisture retained in the soil. And weed growth, including clover, will be greatly diminished.

I suppose that’s true. But the things I’ve always grown, corn, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes seem to really thrive with the clippings in place.

If you have a grass catcher in your mower, grass clippings on a garden are the greatest thing ever. Holds moisture in the soil and there is some fertilization that takes place. Need about 3-4” depth on it though. Another bonus is no weeds.

I’d say that once your AC is truly fixed, the humidity issues will dwindle greatly. Hope your problems get fixed soon.
