  1. When’s the last time we were hoping the euro would save us. It’s usually the executioner
  2. The euro just turned a Miller A into a Miller B and back into a Miller A. Takes the low from Charleston to Snowshoe in 6 hours and on to Dulles airport 6 hours later. And increased my now total 3 inches. Go euro
  3. Did is past tense. Glad you’re not a coroner. People be declared dead while they’re still walking around
  4. I think it’s easy to lose sight of things. If the storm fails, so be it. For the record I’m not on that train yet. But even if it does, the last few days have been fun. Interaction amongst this crew is awesome. I have laughed more times than I can count. Isn’t that what we are here for. Our thoughts and observations have nothing at all to do with the weather that actually transpires. We do this for fun. Keep that in mind.
  5. Y’all see the NAM moving toward the other models, right?
  6. Was the 6z euro that bad? Didn’t see it posted.
  7. We back to volcanoes, asteroids, and strat warning?
  8. Always is relative. If you go back to Monday night runs, the GFS for example had no storm. Once it got the storm it’s been crazy consistent. Here is the Tuesday night run … And here is the run from this morning .. Thats what you call crazy consistent. It may be an unusual track. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.
  9. I have never seen models this consistent. They’re each a little different, but in comparison to their own runs they are like carbon copies. My only hesitation in accepting them as are is for the very reason that I just stated. I’ve never seen this. I would expect changes simply because that typically happens. Might even be the “more north, more west”. That would take almost all of us out.
  10. Hope this works out like your earlier calls
  11. Guide to the HRRR. Hope it shows what you don’t want.
  12. Maybe the NAM will delay the storm until Tuesday
  13. Thank you. Do you have any idea what it shows for next week?
  14. I drove across the Sierras on June 4th in 1997 in a blinding snowfall. Snow on roads was probably at least 6” and snow on the side of the road was at least 10’ deep.
