  1. I'm still pissed at that early July torch/dry spell.
  2. 0.99” in the bucket. No idea on snow since I’m 1600 miles away. I’ll just cheat and use other local reports.
  3. Nice temp drop. 30.9 now. Wife sent a pic and the roads are caving. Radar looks good. It will be mid-50s and sunny where i am in Colorado today. I miss home.
  4. I'll be out of town, but rooting for you all. Unless the Ukie is right and then I'll be pissed and resentful.
  5. Absolutely stellar day today. Peak Fall.
  6. Are you sure? There's a CoCoRahs station just SW of you ( Franconia 1.3 SSE ) that is at 59.51" and DCA is at 55.9". That would be a major, sustained screwjob to be that much less than those two.
  7. This is the fire near Sacramento. Nuts.
  8. Same here. We are recording maybe 8 hours of tv a week and watching about 2.
  9. 0.63" on the day. Raining steadily. Leaves dropping.
  10. DCA/IAD are in the 55-56" range after today. IAD's record is 65.69" in 2003. DCA's is 61.33" in 1889. Achievable, but still some work to do.
  11. Cameron Run along 495 made it to around flood stage this morning.
  12. Just over 62.5" on the year. Pretty amazing.
  13. I usually try to run it out of gas and then add Stabil to the gas can. That's about all I do.
  14. Roaring out there. Gusts well into the 30s if not 40s. edit to add radarscope image
  15. Leaves coming down in torrents. Just the perfect time for a line of gusty showers.
  16. I purposely bought non-chocolate candy to hand out so that I wouldn't gorge on it afterwards. I only semi-gorged, so, success!
  17. Our first leaf pickup was yesterday. This is the first year that I haven’t had any to put out. The maple is starting to look pretty good, but the oaks are an unattractive orange/brown. Since oaks dominate my neighborhood, I’m going to go with a dud for leaf season around here. Hope they fall quickly.
  18. Few flurries on the road SW of Scranton. Headed to VT so I hope I can see something up there. Amazing that the trees are still mostly green up into central PA.
  19. NPZ is right. The actual temperature should vary between sunny and shady places, so you should expect a difference in readings. It should be muted when it is windy.
  20. 2.38” total. Gusty with a few dead branches down. Fall!
  21. I think you might dagger our see-saw precip battle with this one.
  22. 1.61” on the day. Ho-hum in 2018.
  23. Instantaneous rain rates of 4.5"/hr at home right now. Almost 0.5" after 0.45" this morning.
