    We just had some clearing and the sun is visible through higher clouds and the temp jumped to 34º. The forecasts this week haven't been good temp wise at all. The clouds are wreaking havoc. Also, I want the clouds, temps are too warm for the sun to come out, too.

    just had a good burst of snow with the trough moving through, got in the "yellow" on the super res radar. came down pretty good for about 5-10 minutes. solid coating.

    As long as I can retain much of my snow cover, I'll be okay until it snows again.

    Grew up in Kentucky and do the same. I'm excited for literally any flake of snow.

    I'm much less bitter when the south gets snow than the northeast, that's for darn sure.

    And it's snowing and temp has started dropping after staying at 32º for hours.

    Rockford is at 33º and we're at 31.3º right now. We may go above freezing. smdh.

    Only managed 24º today and down to 17º. I just want snow, please, weather gods, just some straight up snow.

    As someone who lives in the northern tier of LOT counties, I agree.

    I'm in McHenry. Maybe we were far enough north that we got more sleet than freezing rain so the freezing rain we got melted more easily. Not sure, but there really isn't much out there.
