  1. Been watching that too. I expect it will lessen the amounts and shift north in the coming days.
  2. I wouldn't be so quick to write off this storm as of yet. We still got a few days. System isn't even on shore yet. The models will shuffle the track a bit more until then.
  3. Local News Media in both Arkansas and Oklahoma are going public about the model data now.
  4. Interesting to say the least. Indeed must be a lot of sleet/ice mixed in.
  5. Zzzzzzzzz being the current trend minus being seasonably cold at least. Its not looking good in the long term this month as it looks to warm back up again. Those wishing for a White Christmas might be a bust, at least for most of us. Edit: Latest Euro came out and wants to hint at snow/ice during Christmas week but it's at the end of the run. Take it with a grain of salt.
  6. Still unconfirmed if it was a bunch of different tornado tracks as they are still doing the survey but I was right next to the one that touched down in Rogers last night. It was definitely a big rain wrapped beast. Rogers literally just got done renovating the downtown area and now much of it is in ruins. This hit close to home literally and will be a chase ingrained in my memory for a very long time. I hate HP tornadic storms at night.
  7. My target area was Enid so this lines up with what I suspected unfortunately
  8. Might be a little gun shy after the 5/20/19 debacle. Totally understandable. Bet it gets reconsidered at 1630z
  9. Fine, I'll be the weather weenie for once and say it goes high risk on Mon morning. lol
  10. Man 2024 is turning out to be a pretty epic plains year, its been too long.
  11. I believe we are witnessing a rare tornado family?
  12. Another one just formed directly to the east of the anti-cyclonic one. Grandfield, OK might be in trouble here.
  13. SW OK storms continue to consolidate and ramp up. Betting we will see a nasty tornado out of this one soon.
  14. My thoughts too... what a crazy couple weeks this has become.
  15. So are we gonna talk about those storms in SW OK? They already had at least 1 confirmed tornado.
  16. Unless something really drastic comes up on the data I'm thinking R.I.P. winter.
  17. Looking at some of the long term data we might be done unless something happens in March. Showed promise but turned out to be a very meh season.
  18. Had snow for about an hour here in Fayetteville and now we're getting dry slotted hard in the NWA area, might be a bust here. Never fails.
  19. Data still looking insane for many areas along I-44, still waiting on a few more 00z models to come in.
  20. 12z runs, take it as you will HRRR 3km NAM WRF-ARW NSSL-WRF FV3 Basically areas to note is Central/SW OK and extreme NW AR and SW MO get slammed tonight. Even accounting for melting this could be significant.
