KPIT is asleep 90% of the time it seems.

This was a pleasant summer rain. Couple rumbles, but nothing like the 4 hour monsoon last night.

This doesn't seem anywhere near last night, at least in my area.

Best in a while. Hopefully we'll get that lucky again.

No biggie. We can poke fun, but just have to do it across the board. And anyway we're approaching September where I do not want to see any 90s, 60s for the whole month.

Yeah, and 90 is unlikely to kill many people. I'd like to see 100 at some point too, but I'm not actively rooting for that. Equating a 90 degree day to a 100 degree day is not an accurate comparison, but if we're going to compare them one to one, then we'd have to equate any severe weather as equals. You know what I mean. We don't want death, of course, that would be insane, but seeing an extreme is not that out of the box. We all have preferences, so let's not put others down or make fun of them if someone is disappointed that they didn't get weather they like.

Yeah, this is absolutely ridiculous. Hope the destructive weather lovers are happy.

Well that never happens, lol. I hate training storms. We're these even in the forecast? Like a chance of storms was, but this seems like a massive misstep by the mets tonight.

Not complaining just an observation. It just a very weird thing that happens here. We struggle mightily to reach 90 even on days forecasted for well above 90. I will complain though about this never ending storm. Very annoying.

90 today. 4th 90 this year. Even on days forecast at 93-94 we still struggle to get to 90.

When it's this hot, does it matter how high we go? Might as well high 90, 91, 92. But i'm sure 89 is where we'll end.

The weather app says the airport is at 90, so we'll see if that's accurate.

Wonder if we get at least a heat advisory tomorrow? There is a glaring hole on the hazard map, but that's typical NWS Pittsburgh, lol.

What would limit the temperature rising that high is the high humidity levels.

I was born January '95, so I don't remember, but was told how hot it was. Also, that was the last year we hit 100. Anyway, NWS bumped tomorrow's temperature to 94.

Tomorrow high is forecast at 93, record is 94. Let's see if we make a run. If we make it to 94 it would be the first record high in August since 1995!
