    Both NAMs (12km and 3km) give us over a foot! With Kuchera they're both nearing 18"!

    I really hope that mixing that the NAM is advertising does not continue to lift north, or retreats all together.

    Euro dropping nearly a foot now! Wow. This could be really special. NAM is insane!

    They were awful in the last storm too. There first call was for less than an inch, I believe. Then obviously missing by about 6, lol.

    I hope that warm tongue does not materialize. That’s really the first we’ve seen it here. Hopefully, that is not a trend.

    What does CCB mean. I see the QPF. Is that the rate per hour it’s falling?

    Seems it is causing a bit of panic in the Mid-Atlantic forum. While it will be unfortunate for them to trend so poorly after so many good days, the idea of the potential here is exciting.

    Well, this type of storm is pretty standard for us, so we kind of knew this was ours, but again, we never know. We got lucky on the 1st, maybe more to come, who knows? Also, not sure how important it is but only got up to 36 this afternoon about 3-4 degrees colder than expected.

    Dropped all over though, correct. Not just our area? Or was it showing much lower totals? At least it's the GFS, lol.

    18z HRRR not looking too good. Onset of storm is pretty warm (35-36 degrees).

    A 6"-9" storm is pretty good, and to get two in December, is impressive. Here's hoping, anyway.

    I noticed that the UK was gradually giving us higher totals the last few days. Started near 0 and has moved around 2".

    They had that up briefly yesterday and there call was 2". Good progress. But the high end to low end range is 8" down to 0". That would be brutal.

    NAM nailed us again on the 12z. About the same totals as 6z.

    How's the GFS been lately? At least it's not the most reliable.

    One thing that is refreshing is not really having to worry about mixing issues. I know it's not that kind of storm, but still. Also, has the energy been sampled yet by the models?

    I'm getting excited, and I know I shouldn't, lol! I'm still realistic, but the possibility is interesting. I'm overall still sticking with 2-4".

    You're not kidding. Isn't NAM getting near it's wheelhouse? SREF Plumes are at 8.25" mean!

    That recent NAM run was crazy, even the one before was nice. I know it is near the end of it's range so, grain of salt and all, but the trend is nice. Euro looks pretty nice as well. Good trends today. Let's keep it up! Also, Ron Smiley, on KDKA, this morning mentioned this could be "the big one", but wouldn't commit to giving totals right now. Says there's a lot on the table. Maybe he looked a the NAM?
