Been steady light snow for several hours, no transition to rain happened and the temps have barely climbed here. This constant light snow all day is gonna help cool the ground somewhat, also this doesn't seem as moisture starved as they've been saying? Idk probably wishful thinking lol

to be fair, on my weather.gov, the forecast isn't showing anything much worse than what I've dealt with this summer (IMBY mind you!) Highs are forecast in low 90's and typically this summer we've been several degrees cooler than the high. By Sunday it appears to be back into the low 80s

Outside of wind/tor/hail threat, if we get another round of storms I'm thinking flooding will be possible with the ground already saturated from the previous rain we've had in the last week (In Greene Co at least)

Not sure about other areas but at least in Mosheim the grass is green and vegetation is lush, while we haven't had a ton of rain it's been fairly consistent

Not liking how it seems to be drying up.
If anything actual radar seems healthier than the simulated was showing around this time, let's just hope it holds together

By 1am, most of the valley's 850s are below freezing, by 7am, the 850s are downright frigid.

Regardless of snow, with such fast drop in temps and the winds forecasted, I hope nobody loses power. That's my biggest concern at the moment, any precipitation will just complicate that factor

The good thing is we shouldn't need a lot of precipitation, id imagine the ratios will be higher than 10:1
