    i said the same thing. the trees that were going to fall in 70 mile winds fell in 2020. we had extensive damage. last night wasnt as bad.

    Nws Therefore, gusts up to 45 to 50 mph are expected and with saturated grounds, trees may be more easily downed by these wind gusts. This is why the wind advisory was issued. There may be somewhat of a lull in the winds this morning before more gusty winds develop this afternoon. The peak gusts are expected mid to late this afternoon.

    I’ve never had water in my basement. I’m fortunate enough to be on a slight grade and the grade goes away from the house my friend used to get water. He had his yard graded now he doesn’t grading away from the house makes a huge difference.

    So far so good. Clearly gusts in the 40s. My ambient weather station is mounted on top of my fence and does a terrible job with winds so I can’t go by it
