  1. With their track record through the years, there'd be 3 inches down and S+ in Hartford before they changed lol
  2. 1990 IIRC, and it was warmer than what we've had this year
  3. It's from the first week of February suppression depression shown on the latest GFS
  4. The 6Z GFS should at least give the weenie something to quiver over, let's see if it has a clue
  5. It looks like the long range 6Z GFS may be sniffing the pattern change. It seems there's more cold air around. Too bad it's the long range GFS, but at least it's something to watch. I haven't had a chance to look at anything else from overnight yet
  6. Some years were frigid, until we got a storm, then it would rain and get frigid again after. Others were quite wet as I remember. Several storms that started as snow only to quickly change to pouring rain. And of course there was ALWAYS the good 'ol "rain changing to snow" Yeah right, I only remember that happening once the whole decade
  7. LOL me too. All I remember about 16/17 is it was a great winter in my area. Only Will would remember the daily play by play though
  8. Well you got me there! It is 2023.... Even the weather models don't identify as their former selves, just ask the Euro
  9. Unfortunately the end of the NAM is about useless as tits on a bull. However lets see what happens when Monday is out of here, maybe it will help reshuffle things a little
  10. LOL I hear that! I drove in through Granville this morning just so I could see everything white. Still wish we had found a house there instead of Westfield
  11. Looks like the NAM has come back to reality with regards to Monday
  12. I was thinking the same... a moisture starved clipper lol. 23rd does look slightly better than 12Z, but thats grasping at straws
  13. Fatties starting to mix in here, about 2 miles south of the pike. The ground is actually starting to whiten Down to 32.5°
  14. Funny, I didn't expect this, but the last half hour snowbis mixing in and actually sticking in a couple spots
  15. I hear that. Although if we're starting as sleet here In Simsbury, you should get some frozen. I'm told there's flakes falling at home in Westfield
  16. 2 to 3 inches... maybe, but I'm not feeling it with this setup. I do still think one of the systems next week could surprise SNE, we'll see
