  1. Couple flurries starting in Westfield
  2. Ahhhhh, NO. Using the HRRR from the time stamp he posted that is just downright idiotic. Why you would even waste your time on that...
  3. I get it. I still have the FuccuWeather app on my phone, really just for the super crappy radar
  4. Well it certainly could be true, but NO need to poop in the party dip just yet
  5. You actually still use a weather app?
  6. Dusting overnight in Westfield 27 degrees
  7. For now, lots of moving pieces to keep track of
  8. I was joking, but at least there's something to watch. I'm not convinced yet that the Wednesday deal misses south
  9. Nice vibe to be spoiled for choice tracking systems lately. Helps make up for last month
  10. LOL at all the NAM talk overnight! Meanwhile everything looks on track
  11. I had 3 billable plowing that season after the Halloween storm. 3 inches, 4.5 and 2.5. WORST winter ever as far as I'm concerned
  12. Really? Wow that surprises me considering pics I've seen
  13. Plus just the nature of the storm I really think some just stopped reporting. My Grandfather was district manager of H.E.L.Co. ( now spinning like an EF5 in his grave due to Neversource ) in Simsbury at the time. They used to keep track of depths for the crews etc and said at the office they had 26 inches as best they could tell but he felt it was more just impossible to tell with the winds. And man! Imagine those winds with the 2013 storm! THAT would have been insane!
  14. Likewise! I grew up in Granby CT. We were at the bus stop when my mom and a couple other parents came walking to the bus stop. We were like WTF they never come see us. When they said they got a call and school was cancelled you could probably hear our excitement a mile away! And no school the rest of the week
  15. To this day I will chuck those accumulation amounts far and wide! Quite underdone in some area
  16. Ended up with 2.25 here before the changeover. Between the sleet and freezing rain, down to 1.75
  17. Just about 2 inches here now at the shop. Some very large flakes starting to mix in so I think the sleet is not far behind funny the temp has actually fallen from 18 to 16 in the last hour
  18. I mean I agree with the crowd here that think we've become too soft... and for sure have! However you're absolutely right. Te cold ground and low temps made the roads instantly slick. I can even feel it in the Power wagon this A.M. Roads are NOT good here right now
  19. Hoping that happens. Get a decent amount of sleet in this stuff and it won't instantly vaporize like the stuff Sunday evening. Good prep for the weekend
