    This stuff is super saturated down here in simsbury. There's about 3 in but now it's totally waterlogged. Feels more like I'm plowing the Ocean than somebody's driveway

    Heaviest snow I've seen all day so far now in westfield. 100% snow again here. Heading out now to hit the plow route in Simsbury

    Measured 3 inches in Simsbury 45 minutes ago, 3 inches in Granby center shortly after, and 3 inches in Westfield when I got home. If you ask me I don't see this changing over, certainly not to rain

    Mesos keep my hood snow until about 4p.m. Not sure I buy it hanging in that long unless this bombs

    I bottomed (giggity) out at 24 in Westfield, was 26 whn I left the house. 27 in Simsbury. The school system is closed along with many others in this area.

    Lots of schools closed this morning in the northern CT area. Works for me, I have a ton of maintenance in on of the districts

    Dropped to 24 in Westfield overnight, up to 26 now. LOL 12Z GFS, I'll believe it when I plow it!

    Speaking of colder, down to 26 in Westfield already. I didn't expect it to cool so rapidly this evening

    Bob Cox on WTIC super conservative as of this morning (as always), going for 3 to 6 in the hills with about an inch everywhere else. I just don't see that myself with the overnight slight trends. I could see 3 to 6 near Hartford to BDL and 4 to 8 in the hills

    Reminds me, someday I need to draw a rain/snow line map for my area that better explains it. Models and local forecasts just never get the area right. Heavy smoothing on the maps

    I feel like we had a similar storm last season, similar disagreement and last minute the warm tongue was firmly inserted into SNE... but i don't have anywhere your memory capacity

    Don't you have 24 hours? That's what most towns are. And LOL at the name showing 6 to 8 inches in westfield, but none in Simsbury where I'm covering my friend's plow route. Definitely won't happen because I'm really not looking forward to plowing this storm
