  1. Suggestion: Put on ignore the idiots who say that. Edit: And stop even mentioning those people
  2. Going to "report" 0.25" or crunch, as it's definitely more than a Trace and I log in 1/4" increments.
  3. Just a small annoyance on what BAMWX says in this tweet: Model output isn't data, it's information. Data is unstructured, raw material without meaning until structured and aligned with other data. Information is the output of structured data that has meaning and context for users. Long range looks quite promising.
  4. Nice setup - I'm impressed at the effort you put into keeping things going all winter. It does make sense that those cool-weather crops would be doing OK though, given the mild nighttime temps this winter.
  5. Nice. Are you planning to replant them outdoors or just leave them under the lights? Last year was the first year that I grew anything under lights, but I found that the cilantro and parsley took FOREVER to recover after I replanted them in the garden. Basil was fine. I have a potted oregano plant (from seed) that I decided to bring indoors for the winter - still doing pretty well by a SW-facing window. Are you going to put them in your yard or replant somewhere else?
  6. 32 with flakes mixing in with sleet in Burke. Temp has dropped 6° since the first drizzle started at about 4:30-5:00. Deck surface getting topped
  7. Co-worker in Herndon said it’s sleeting there.
  8. Decided to drop a few basil, cilantro, and parsley seeds into seed cells and throw them under the grow light a few days ago. Couldn't help myself - I'm already itching to get things started.
  9. I was going to say this, as well. The recent trend now that the blocking is established is a move south. I was thinking the same even over the last 24 hours or so as this window has popped up. You could see how if this followed the recent trends then it could ultimately give us something to really track...even if the ultimate solution isn't perfection.
  10. Burke mini-jack. (Jesus...how f'ing sad is this tracking endeavor)
  11. Looks like I’ll be headed to HHI about 10 days around the beginning of March. If we can make the most February and then squeeze in one more potential window when I’m back, I’ll be a happy man. Of course, that won’t happen, so I’ll just try to be a happy man anyways.
  12. With all due respect, your posts very rarely make any sense.
  13. So it doesn’t have all that much effect on the threat window that’s 5-6 days away.
  14. 6z Op GFS with the opening gambit for chances throughout the run. Op GFS and all, but still...
  15. There's a house around the corner from me whose daffodils start poking through the ground by Christmas...EVERY YEAR.
  16. Lincoln Logs...I loved Lincoln Logs, especially when we built a fort and put army men on them and shot them down with rubber bands. Edit: We had something called Fort Apache, too, which was a build-it-yourself frontier fort with "Cowboys (US Cavalry) and Indians." Did a lot of setting that up and picking of those figures, as well. Fun times...
  17. We have an LED version of Lite Brite that doesn't require you to poke holes in construction paper. As for cookie dough, it's completely safe if it's been pasteurized. It's also pretty safe anyways - the only concern is eating raw flour that may have e coli or the like in it.
