All guidance onboard now, Just a matter of totals when it flips.
Been out of the loop for a while until 18z today and wouldn't you know it, i guess we're gonna have a snowstorm Monday.

Then you may have seen my footprints going down the spiral stairs! Do they have the holiday lights on at night? I'll need to return for those sometime
Not sure if they are turned on yet but it’s a great sight when they do. I think that bridge is one of the most photographed structures in southern Maine at this point. That whole Park is a gem and right downtown.

One of the things that makes my area a weenie spot is that we can often be right on battleground longitudinaly and latitudinaly. Right at the transition of the CP and on the edge of the best CAD. this system is a perfect example, not far south of here in lavas hood they flipped hours ago. Some years I might do 20” or more than him even though we’re less than 15 miles as the crow flies. Meanwhile west bridgton still snowing even after we just flipped.

33, 3.75”, still mod snow, hasnt flipped yet. Everything is pasted

soggy 2-3" final call. I think GYX is bullish with the 4-6" call for Fryeburg but I've seen plenty of marginal systems where West Bridgton is the longitudinal dividing line between up and in and down and out.

I'm going to end up less then 5 miles SE of the good snow, No CAD to be had this go round.
NAM really scours out the cold air at the surface quicker than other models and no CAD to speak of like you mention. I’m tempted to believe it and toss other models for now. Still think my 2-4 imby call is good and would hedge towards lower end atm. Should be a nice sloppy mess, kinda how I like my t-day meal

Just going by climo this next system will be a nice snower for mountains of Maine NH NVT. Battleground on the edge of the CP here as it always is with these marginal systems. 2-4” first call.

Also while the OP gets drunker, GEFS continues to say look out mountains

Who cares how the next few weeks verify? Lots of eye candy on the OPs, with system after system. It’s only mid November, we’re tracking, what more can you ask for? Trolls gonna troll

Ways to go but GFS has my attention for next week. That’s a solid look on the mean for the mountains. Guess I’ll be expediting winter yard prep this weekend.

I have been in Drummondville, QC for work this week. It snowed moderately all day here. Probably accumulated about 2 inches. Nice wintry vibe. Really enjoying it before return to stick season.

I don't think they have a clue where he is. I also don't think he escaped via boat. He'd have to go over a dam in Topsham just down river.
Sounds like they got him at his house in bowdion. Stand off situation

Yeah, I'd probably go 176 for the QSTs. Thinking of maybe just dumping my Declivity's and just using the QSTs for my all around ski......decisions decisions.
Declivity series one of the finest skis out there right now. I have skied and loved them in all waist widths. I still have a 102 in my quiver. Back to back with enforcer, mantra, stance, etc. I think it’s a better ski. Armada makes a great all mountain ski, starting with the invictus series, but their brand recognition and top sheet graphics have always been meh

You can't blame mental health crisis on every shooting.
Every country has mental health issues. Only we (and Yemen I believe) have more guns than people. This will never stop. People won’t give up their guns, congress will never pass common sense reform, this is America.

Hmmm... about Black Mountain of NH (Jackson) not Rumford Maine. I skied there on one of their last days (Saturday, March 18). Sad. The place is south facing and relatively low elevation and the majority of their trail acreage are open pasture that gets baked and is hard to hold snow. I kind of remember them getting off to a really late start last year. I'm betting their season pass sales were non-existent and the family either didn't want to take on debt or couldn't take more debt on. Frankly, hope it's the former and not the latter. I've only skied there a few times but heard when there was fresh snow and adequate base the mountain is super fun with some challenging terrain especially on the upper half of mountain. The father got into a big public fight a few years ago with the ski touring community and the Last Man Standing event left and moved to Black Mountain Maine. There are some homes on the side of the hill. It's too bad. Last March, I nordic skied at the ski touring center in the morning with my dog and then threw him in the car and picked up a 1/2 day downhill pass and skied the afternoon - it was a nice combo especially for locals.
North Conway market is bizarre. Enormous amount of skier visits to go around but mismanagement and lack of investment has the market heavily lopsided to cranmore and BW. New quad at attitash is a step in right direction for vail to try and get back visits lost. I think there is space for an indy like Black in NoCo but it’s an uphill battle. Mt Abram is a good comp - operating on borrowed time with old lifts and snowmaking infrastructure that can’t go on forever, and no real shot at the $20 million investment it will take to replace. I sometimes wonder if nonprofit would be the best route for some of these places (like Black Mountain of Maine)- lean heavily into access for local and underserved communities. Maybe a better shot at financing $20 million from private philanthropy and government grant programs. I wonder if Granite Backcountry Alliance (a 501) will take a real hard look at Black.

Nam and hrrr gone wild for the coast with tomorrows system. crashes the 2m temps south, big difference from 12z. Ground is really warm so toss the clowns, especially with marginal surface temps even in my area for the duration. I like the 12z hrrr koochie for a forecast with classic climo gradient somewhere north of Windham.
