Weird how spotty this is so far. Had beautiful dendrites pouring and then it just shut off. Now dendrites again.

Doubt I get to 8. But I dont care. This was a true cold snowstorm. Something we get so rarely. Awesome day.

All of my shoveling has been ruined :). Everything covered again. Smaller flakes than last band. But coming down nicely.

ULL getting its act together

Few pics from my hood from 45 ,minutes ago. Just finished my first shovel. Hit 6 inches. still snowing lightly. Hope to steal a couple more so I can eat my words about "no chance to get to 8".

Agree. i mean Richmond just broke a snow drought of 1 plus inch snowfall that lasted over 1000 days yesterday. No one up here can come close to claiming anything like that.

Knew I should have gone there. Can confirm these bands coming in from WV are light snow. If they can hold together we might get a little surprise before the ULL pass.

Still plenty of bands in WV to come through before the ULL pass. Hoping they help backfill later this morning.

There are still some returns to come through. Back to light snow here. Think we will see this off and on throughout the day. Then maybe snag a couple inches from the ULL pass. And radar will light back up then.
