    MJO passes through phase 1 with some amplitude then into phase 2 later in the month. Which is great. That is a nice signal for sustained cold. If we miss the next storm we will have other chances this month. Maybe after a relaxation?

    Back down to pixie dust here. Picked up 1.3 from the ULL. And that was with a big lull in the middle. Somebody gonna get 3 from it I am sure. 7.3 for the event out here NW of Winchester. Really fun day.

    Back edge is visible on radar now. Probably less than a hour left out here.

    Weird how spotty this is so far. Had beautiful dendrites pouring and then it just shut off. Now dendrites again.

    Doubt I get to 8. But I dont care. This was a true cold snowstorm. Something we get so rarely. Awesome day.

    All of my shoveling has been ruined :). Everything covered again. Smaller flakes than last band. But coming down nicely.

    Few pics from my hood from 45 ,minutes ago. Just finished my first shovel. Hit 6 inches. still snowing lightly. Hope to steal a couple more so I can eat my words about "no chance to get to 8".

    Agree. i mean Richmond just broke a snow drought of 1 plus inch snowfall that lasted over 1000 days yesterday. No one up here can come close to claiming anything like that.
