I am the exact same. Tomorrow will make 6 days of snow in the first half of Jan for me. And I will be double digits somewhere. So over 30% of climo with our best snow month left to come. I give ZERO weight to long term models. They are literally worthless. They flip flop constantly. My entire forecast was on climo. I have NEVER had a below normal nino winter here. It just has not happened.

This. We got salvaged from the trash heap to where we legit might JACK on the east coast. And again. I am dead set we all see 3-5 at this point.

Its just noise. It is a 3-5 event for all of us imo.

ICON won this one hard. Which kind of sucks. Because now I will give it more weight the rest of the winter. And that will lead to heartbreak at some point.

I am old. Like really old. And its legal to grow 4 plants in VA now. So I set 4 plants in my yard around my tomato plants. And they grew AND GREW. I ended up with enough weed for two of my lifetimes. I have given away tons of it. Less than an ounce at a time. Because that is whats legal. And I have had more friends come see me in the past few months than the past 3 years.

Its funny. I dont even look at the LRT when there is a legit threat. Once the snow starts falling I will glance in there. Once the storm is over I am all in that thread. Until the next threat thread is opened.
