A much needed soaking rain for suffolk. Anyone have totals for middle island/miller place area? Recently moved and haven’t setup weather station yet

Also, Jan 1996 is considered the top snowstorm for our area, March 1993 was definitely better in the South though.

moderate  snow here in holbrook with some sleet mixing in

Conditions deteriorating rapidly here in Suffolk. Had a doctor appointment at 1040 came out at 1110 to 1/8-1/4 miles visibility and snow covered roads 

Southwest suffolk looks to get it good soon

radar doesn’t look great for LI at the moment

4-7 is the call now for Long Island according to the new winter weather advisory update around 4am

Is it me or does the heavy snow just south of LI look like it’s retreating 

I think everyone is still a bit unsure. 3-4” is still on the table as is 6-10

12z nam shifted the heavier snow a bit north. Looks like more sleet will be mixing on Long Island and places south

going with 3-4” for my area, south central suffolk. NW suffolk could see 6-8
