just one more run.
is that supposed to be the pattern change storm?
the luxury of having two homes is I'm going to be in the Poconos that entire week, so one way or other I'll have a lot of snow lol. I'm going there 2/11 and staying all week.
Where in the poconos? Parents had a place in lake Ariel. Nice up there

Do you believe schools will be closed Friday? Commute will be a mess if we get forecasted ice/sleet.
Doubt it for LI

I can take the delayed warmth if it somehow means March won’t suck this year.
Gimme an early spring in march especially if we’ve had a cold snowy January/February

I can’t mentally handle another week of flip flopping models. I’ll check back on this thread Wednesday.
Me too I’ll check in Wednesday. I’m also in for the no zr party. Don’t need that

Ended up with 16-17” though to measure. Fun storm but def not my favorite for me anyways. 2/2013 had heavier snow

In my part of Long Island, 2/7/13 is probably my favorite

I have about that in commack, maybe slightly more since I didn’t get any subsidence today.
Looks like the end is near

Except for the wind really cranking, that subsidence was kinda boring. Back into good rates now
Depth on the snow stake hasn't increased since about 9:30, despite having a couple of hours of approx. 2" rates during that time. Safe to say we have at least the 13" on the stake and probably a good bit more. I was happy with my 9am obs, but since then measuring this one is a royal mess. No idea how to get an accurate number now.
The stake is near my boards on flat ground in the most open spot I have. My neighbor has more of a hill in front of his house and the "waves" on his lawn look a little like swells on the ocean. My lawn has more uniform snow depth, but clearly a lot of that snow is going somewhere else.
Just spoke with my dad who lives in smithtown (borderline kings park) and they have well over a foot. He’s at around 16-17”

Someone out east will easily be 24+. Usually Stony Brook maxes out
