you were in the middle of the 30"+ totals in that one weren't you Ed? I remember a 38" total from somewhere on Long Island
I think 32” was the highest on LI during that storm

How about February 7th 2013. That was a good one. A lot of places over 2’. Medford was the jackpot on LI with 32”. Parts of Connecticut had 40”

lol, I do see that now. It very well may have interrupted a string of storms. So difficult to just keep threading the needle all winter...and that's why it's so beautiful when it happens. Albeit as rare as it is.
Let me ask you guys: Historically, are we more likely to see a major snowstorm in late February and through March, or already in the season (like Feb 1 and prior)?
We had good nor’easters March 2018 here on long island

It’s the snowiest part of the island. Once you head south of the LIE and east of the sagtikos amounts usually decrease
I grew up in smithtown still work there

My idiot neighbor left his truck in front of my house so the plow didnt get in front of my house. Im about to lose it.
The plow driver by me sucked this storm. He left snow 7-8’ away from the curb on the whole block. My street is now one way

Odd how a lot of LI is colder than nyc. Somehow this always happens even in setups that you’d think would favor nyc
