No, you are right. I'm not curled up in a ball in hysterics ( I mean, if I can get through the dreaded eye rolls now from my 11-year-old daughter, I can get through anything )! Lol Life does go on and we look for the next possibility ( although this isn't a done deal ). For what it's worth, we still may see something smaller from this. Who knows at this point.

Wolfie.... We pray. Seriously... After last night's runs, I felt like a deflated balloon. But I think a lot of us did ( although, there was has been talk of this going back and forth until they have a better idea by today or tomorrow ). So you're right, the 12z run will be an important one

I totally now get what you mean. You guys know I'm always Mr positive. And that too can be a little annoying. Because that's how I'm feeling right now. Annoyed But yes, the venting does help. It's like a damn drug. We need that fix!

Man do I feel your frustration. My love for the Winter weather and especially the Snow has been like this since I was a little kid. As much as I want to just toss this Winter, I can't as it's not nearly over.

Btw guys.. Don't blame tip for opening the thread. I think everyone's just upset that things didn't turn around. If this were about 12 hours ago, none of us would be saying this.

Geez, I feel like this is such a gut punch. I sure hope something good happens to today. This is truly getting tiring with how much of a rollercoaster ride these models bc are. It's almost like they are meant to get our our excitement level through the roof to then just deflate it. It's so hard to even trust and get excited about anything from these models anymore.

And what about the idea of the Euro tending to hold back the energy and bury it in the southwest. That was mentioned by Bernie.

So what's your take? This is what you do and see this all the time. Are you more Euro team, or do you think the GFS is on to something? ( Or plead the fifth lol )

I think that's what she tried to say LOL. My thing is, if the Euro turns out to be right and the GFS and the other models are wrong, then I give up.

My guess with this run is that most of Connecticut except far Eastern Connecticut would stay in the Snow zone. But that's just what I'm seeing from where the low is heading. Not sure what it means as far as snowfall totals, at least from this run

I wouldn't absolutely not worry yet. We need the Euro to start coming in line in some way. My Hope is that this will remain a strong signal, but in the end we'll ease up from the warmer solution.

So I thought this video was interesting. Bernie does mention that the Euro has always had trouble burying the energy in the southwest incorrectly. But, he stopped short of saying that the GFS was the correct model. This at least gives hope for the storm this weekend. It's definitely an interesting video to watch

Man... Why do I feel like the Euro today needs to be good, even if it is just an improvement. We pray. Should be seeing something coming in within the hour.

So even though the Canadian didn't have a similar outcome, that one probably doesn't hold as much weight as the GFS? And I get what you're saying, we need to get a little closer to get a definite idea.
