We got a smudge of rain today. Now the cells are going around Wake. One cell is going north the other is going south.

My last measurable rainfall IMBY was May 24.

I thought for sure last night that cell coming from chapel hill would get western wake but alas nothing! One bright side with the drought is that I don’t think I’ve had to kill a mosquito yet this year. From that perspective it’s been really awesome

Why does RDU always seem hotter than the other areas? Is it something to do with the drought?

It doesn’t “look” like it’s going to rain tonight. My yard is looking like hay and the ground is cracked. I’m not watering it anymore!
