You wouldn’t cancel winter if you lived in Florida. Thanks for your input. It’s useless
Speaking for the wide majority of this board, you my friend are what we call a grade A prime asshole.

Longer days, soft breezes, cooking on the grill, eating outside, working in the yard, playing golf, baseball, fishing....doesn’t get much better, can’t wait!
Give me an effing break...it's still winter damnit!

This. This will very likely trend north the last 48 hours. We want to get it as far south as we can now. I wouldn’t mind one more south jump tonight before the likely bleed north on guidance starts once the wave tonight gets out of the way.
Yep, been watching the sleet and mix line push further NW all day into Ohio with the low tracking through now. Model shift NW started last night. Don't want it to happen, but it likely will.

6 inches up here in northern Albemarle county...can't believe it actually. It is legit winter wonderland out there.

I do! Class of 2022. Beautiful place in the snow — very happy to be here.Although I'm a Hokie transplanted to charlottesville, I'm good with any snow lover, ha! Seriously, enjoy this one....I'm just thrilled we're getting something after the Euro rug pull yesterday.

@NorthArlington101 it's been ripping huge fat flakes for the past hour....maybe the biggest flakes I've ever seen in my 43 years, at times

Moderate snow and 32 down here just north of charlottesville. Rain hung in a little longer than we all hoped but nice to sip coffee and watch it snow now. Epic jebwalk about to commence

How do you like Stadia? I've looked into it casually but I've never committed just because I'm not sure I'm a believer in cloud gaming yet -- worry about input lag.
I was like you until I took a leap of faith for cyberpunk. Oddly enough it works like magic. I love it so far and it runs without lag if you have a decent internet connection and direct ethernet cable plugged in. Some lag over WiFi but none hardwired. I've got 30Mbps connection. I recommend trying it out for sure.

Nice Yoda, played the old version. I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Stadia tonight. Happy gaming

I'm not feeling good about cville snowfall with this one. Looks like a 3-6 snow event with ice ice ice.
North west VA looks golden
I agree! We need that cold air to stick around throughout the column. Fortunately we have about twenty more model cycles to analyze!

As one of the few people with dual addresses in the forum, I think the main problem is when someone posts something that sounds great without specifying a location. It would be bad to post "wow 12z EURO is amazing" if it was really only amazing for NE Maryland, or whatever.
Yeah, I get it. The entire event could implode and it's definitely not region wide either way. The comments just came off as petty. We all need to see a few flakes for the vibes to improve I think.

This may come as a shock to you, but literally all but a handful of posters on here are basically Northern VA and north. Most are DC and MD. No one here cares about Richmond.
Why don't you stop bitching and let the man post. I live in CHO and last time I checked we are part of this forum, including Richmond. The more snow discussion the better as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe a half in in Charlottesville today but we're supposed to get 2-3 inches. Lame indeed

I don’t consider this political because the stimulus bill is bipartisan and this is in no way an attack on one side or the other what I’m about to say pertains to general reaction by EVERYONE...I’m just genuinely confused by the reaction and the plan. Many other nations have totally suspended rent/mortgages/utilities/debt for months. How many people pay less than 1200 for all that over say 3 months? Imo what we just got is way less than what most governments are doing plus we will have to pay for this someday vs the idea of simply freezing then rebooting the economy when this is over. Yet people seem genuinely grateful if not downright giddy over this. Am I missing something?
I'm with you man, I'm sure it will help alot of people, but it's really only a start. Guess it's something, but it surely isn't the general public's saving grace.
