  1. It is kind of neat to see people from IL, IN, and OH in here at the same time actually in the game together.
  2. Peep the 0z HRRR. Legitimate hammer time in N IL, unless I'm missing something.
  3. This thing is definitely trending well for Chicagoland and west. Euro is a good deal north, very much in line with other guidance at a quick snowfall map glance.
  4. This is good, the more south the better at this juncture. When they start trending back north, we don't want them to end up too far north.
  5. I figure with this system that while it could certainly be something decent, since we're skipping the 20" totals phase of modeling that our expectations will be more easy to meet this time around. That's not to say that I wouldn't want the models to go bonkers, but...
  6. Something something rainer something peaks west something
  7. Snowfall here (I know I'm not Cyclone but I'm excited to see flakes this size) is picking up over time, as is accumulation efficiency. Everything was wet so it took a second of course. Right now It's moderate/borderline heavy with consistent cotton balls for the last half hour.
  8. Honestly, looking at radar trends, I find it hard to believe that we'd get less than 5". I know that's nasty considering where we were, but I have to admit I'm still hyped.
  9. I thought you would say that. Actually, I've got nothing against you starting them, or anyone else in particular, I just think it would be really cool if RC did one The one thread I started back in the day performed probably even worse than this current storm, so I'm not one to judge
  10. This is a formal request for RC to start the next storm thread. Please.
  11. Wym? It's at least a moderate system, drops like nine inches in central IL.
  12. I shit you not, I literally just saw his post, and thought to myself, someone should comment the facepalm guy
  13. It pains me to say this, but the next possibly noteworthy system, around 150 hours out, has caught my attention.
  14. I will say this: never has a storm thread made me laugh like this before
