  1. I think I may be directly upstream of you John. Lull now, waiting on more precip from the SW. Still sitting at about an inch.
  2. If the stars align and the dry air holds off, the radar upstream still looks nice:
  3. If it is still snowing Tupelo though... I may be better off than I thought.
  4. Think the circled band may be the last hurrah for me: One thing I've started to notice on area radars (say switching between Hytop and MRX) is that they can show different depictions of the same area. This was going on in West TN this AM when the dry air really started to intrude. Hopefully it will hold it together long enough for that last pulse.
  5. I hope y'all do. Radar looks good all the way back to the AL/MS border, but that same radar also shows the dry air really making a push now into western areas
  6. There is definitely some dry air working in, but the NAM may be overdoing it. It's sounding for my location as of now: Current weather:
  7. Took about 10 minutes for that new band to go from 50/50 sleet and snow to mostly snow. It's trying hard to rip some fatties, but just not quite there yet.
  8. Check out the 500 mb heights anomaly flip on the Euro: above to below in a matter of days, not sure I've ever seen a flip like that
  9. I hope it can, but just not sure. That's a strong high pressing in.
  10. Got some snow mixing in now. Down to 36/ 37 but it was a heavier burst of precip
  11. OP GFS went full with the above storm at 12z Still not as awesome as that EPS member above
  12. Correlation Coefficient shows the line right over my head and creeping steadily SE
  13. Must be getting close to me. I had to run into Oak Ridge for a bit and dropped on the way back from 51 near east Oak Ridge to 40 at my house.
  14. Think I just caught the front moving through NE TN on NEXRAD, either that or some weird leeside of the plateau enhancement. Interesting to see how it seems to move across the N sections more quickly
  15. For sure. The way things have been shifting even in the short term could make that one even more interesting! Be nice not to be chasing anafrontal 0.5 to 1 inch, lol, but I'm a beggar, so I ain't choosin!
