About a inch here.

Wind is whipping now.

Heavy snow here. Not sure about accumulation, everything’s covered in a solid coating.

Bring on round 2, I’m down to 28 now, if I can get a repeat of round 1 with the lower temps I’ll be happy.
-
It has dumped snow here since 11, it’ll get white then melt during lulls, some of the flakes sizes are insane, hope will be able to get a inch or two tonight.

What an unexpected night, crazy amounts of wind and about an half inch of snow. With flurries still flying.

Wind is whipping here, it will about knock you down when you step out. We’ve got flurries here and sitting at 34 degrees.

We have about a inch and a half here, was hoping for more but I’m not gonna complain, I’ve learned to thank God for the amount he did give us. FYI this pic is took up the mnt looked to be about 4 to 5 inches.
Also how do y’all make the image fit the screen better.

Hopefully we can do this for another 4-5 hours! Would be happy with 3-4 inches.
According to the latest hrrr it should snow like this till 6 or so, anything over two and I’ll be happy.

6z models bumped qpf back up. Not gonna lie tho, the cloud cover all night sure sucked. Only dropped down to 40.
Latest Nam’s show us wasting light precip on rain and a mix but as soon as the main precip gets here boom, it should be coming down and both models show 4-7 inches for Macon. Hope there right!
-
Looking at the latest Nam’s they are quite a bit drier then what current radar shows, might be something to watch.

Not sure what to make of gsp anymore.
Although, the heavy cloud cover here is very concerning, especially since it's still 50 degrees!
I think we will be fine most models show we might start as a light mix but quickly turn to snow and give us at least a half inch of precip

Euro finally jumping on board.

NAM came in juicy and pasted the southern mountains. Slightly warmer but doesn’t look to be an issue here.
That was close to a huge run 1” plus precip was not far one more shift and we might be in for a real pasting.
-
6z Nam 12km drop totals slightly for WNC but still a 3-6 inch event

A decent event on the GFS pretty much 2-4 Inches for the mountains.

Maybe I’m stepping out of bounds but I think will do great with this event. A WSW event for all the mountains, I just know from past experiences these events usually trends better.

Most years I would say the NAM is off it’s rocker, but it’s hard to discount this year. I believe elevations above 3500 feet might be able to score some snow.
