  1. I strongly believe we're about 5-10 years away where a cat 4 is possible up this way
  2. No leaves popping yet in jersey City. I think the map is saying we're about 20 days late if I'm not mistaken?
  3. It's 52 at EWR?! I swear it feels like upper 50s to lower 60s out here And 44 at the jersey city Liberty State Park mesonet but that's expected (that area might as be a smaller version of the pine barrens)
  4. Glad to see hurricane Josh doing his thing out there
  5. Like is gonna pack a punch...nothing severe but it'll definitely be strong
  6. It's really warm here. Temps actually spiked back up around 9pm
  7. This fog rolled in from the east like a damn squall line. One of the coolest shits I've seen in a while
  8. I truly hate our new high dew point climate , with a PASSION
  9. EWR might hit 75 tomorrow
  10. You really like aqi above 200 , I mean not for nothing those orange skies were cool
  11. I mean this sincerely, can we really be upset at this winter though? It's been cold and we've had plenty of 1-3 events....but we've had a lot of days with snow cover If winter were to end today id rate it a B- We're damn near normal snowfall off 1-3" snowfalls lol
  12. Thanks @psuhoffman once you said "this is happening" is when the universe decided it ain't..
  13. If this misses I blame @MJO812 I feel like mother nature just wants to troll him at this point
  14. I'm pretty sure I just saw lightning? Or a meteor? I know I saw a flash that's for sure
  15. You're a great meteorologist brother and it sucks you ended up on the wrong side of the stick alot of the times (not of your fault) One quote from you had me literally lmao... "What do you want me to do? Post bad upper air maps?" Just know you and every other knowledgeable poster here is greatly appreciated by me and many others.
  16. If anything calls for meatballs for dinner..it's this one !!!!!
  17. I haven't seen snow piles this big in a long time!
  18. Hanging out in Manhattan and they definitely got about 3" Those rates were crazy. 1-2"/ hr stuff, and definitely closer towards 2 at times. It piled up QUICK. I'm starting to like these nickel and dime events
  19. That initial thump was legit. Damn near zero visibility at times. Haven't seen snow that heavy since the 2022 snowstorm
  20. NWS will likely go with a WWA for NYC metro for 3-5" locally 6" later unless models trend upwards with amounts. Also 6z RGEM hinting at 2 areas of banding, one just north of NYC and one in central NJ with a subsidence zone in between. Gotta watch that. If that comes to fruition I could see the southern band being a bit more north.
