  1. Places like Mt. Carrigain come to mind also.
  2. Get that One-Eyed Pig and turn it to bacon!Produce storms like my atvar shows
  3. March as far as I'm concerned is still a winter month. Your talking to a guy who measured 27" of snow normally (Without Snowboard) in one storm this past March and my location, based on true definition, is on the coast. So some of the comments are pure fluff, no punn intended. Boston itself still can snow from early December through March. It has been seen many times throughout the years. So I'm sort of curious, what and who's climo are people really using and comparing?
  4. Actually, late developing Miller B's favor Eastern NNE. They don't go trough us, they often stay offshore but get eastern Maine and Nova Scotia pretty damn good.
  5. Agreed. The winter might end up directly between a weak and moderate but right now I still favor a weak one.
  6. Listen guys, let's try to relax. I looked at many of the analogs with what this weak El Nino favors. First, December overall can range from 5-6" to 10-11" for the Boston area especially Logan International. The real fun doesn't start until very late December into January troughout the winter. Even the historical weak el Ninos don't show their cards until later. So let's not go overboard. Winter hasn't started yet at all. What we have all now and seen is a bonus.
  7. The 1997-1998 El nino was a strong one, This is a weak el nino so some of those years aren't good analogs to work with.
  8. Got about 1.6 inches here. Snow really struggled to accumulate. But still a nice. Some of the amounts in New Hampshire look a little high do to the snow board method but generally 3-5" with lolies to about 6-7". Pretty tough to get this storm going. Will said it best, too many competing atmospheric forces to get something real going. Oh well, we wait for the next one.
  9. Strongly agree with this statement.
  10. I think 3-6" will verify somewhat more broadly. The 7-8" looks hard to get to. The heaviest precip will mostly be south around the MA/NH/ southeast NH boarder. Not saying break off banding can't occur where you are but looking at radar and latest HRRR seem to be on track for this right now..
  11. I just took a quick look at the latest HRRR like you did. If it is correct and you look closely, you see a heavier echo developes from Worcester through Bedford to the Northshore. If that developes, We can catch up.
  12. I agree. Right now there's about a gloppy 0.3 inches right now. It took a while of on and off mix but it's all snow now. We'll see what we can get here.
  13. Generally with the surface high in Quebec, the quicker that pushes the colder, thicker air southeast; the earlier we turn to accumulating snows. Simple as that. Also with a ever slightly southeast tick with the lows pressure center of course..
  14. Shame on you for making fun of our fair town!
  15. 8.3" here. Looks like we did quite alright! Enjoy and have a great night.
  16. Ok gentlemen, I hear or at least I think I hear some pingers or something like that. I'm going to measure one more time befor I go to bed. I think the true accumulating snows are done so I want to see how much I got before it relly settles.
  17. Seriously? You by the waters edge coming it at about half a foot of snow. Now that is truely an underforecast! Wow, enjoy my friend. Winter is now here.
  18. I will wait to measure this one last time before I go to bed but I can tell you based on my experience, that I may be closing in on 8" of snow on the glass table right now.
  19. Obviously at this rate 6-8" totals just outside of 128 are all possible now.
  20. 7.5" at least and still coming down. Overperformer!
  21. Just saw lightning and heard thunder.
  22. I had 5.6 over an hour ago. I can go check to see what has fallen if you want. Still snowing nicely.
  23. Ha! I knew it! You must be happy though. Congrates and it's still snowing..
