  1. Seeing it accumulate on mulch. Everything else is just wet
  2. All snow in the west end. Coming down good but not heavy enough to overcome temps and the wet ground
  3. HRRR still has RVA getting about an inch. Euro is a big no for Saturday. Even SE VA is a 2-4, 3-5 storm
  4. Going to take some heavy rates to get some accumulation. Have to go pretty far north and west to see temps at or below 32
  5. Back to more mixing in the west end. More 50/50 rain snow mix
  6. Yeah was mixing pretty good in the west end for awhile. Now back to mainly rain
  7. Mainly rain here but seeing some flakes mixed in
  8. Possibly. We’ll see. Pattern still looks to breakdown early February
  9. Ensembles have been showing the idea for a storm next weekend for awhile now. What actually happens? Who knows
  10. Just making sure I wasn’t missing anything. Hope you’re right. Seems to be NW trend
  11. 12Z GFS is fun to look at for next weekend. Would be a monster of a storm. Too bad it isn’t going to happen

  13. Digital snow is always fun to look at it…until it’s gone
  14. Agree. We’ll see but the cold air is coming in a lot slower
  15. At work in the west end and every now and then I can see a flake or two mixing in

  17. Think they’re could be a 3-4 hour period of heavy to moderate snow, according to the NAM
  18. Looking like a 2-4, maybe 3-5 in SE VA. See if we get a late NW trend
  19. Latest HRRR has about an inch for RIC which seems more realistic unless this amps up some and we get some heavy rates
  20. 12z NAM was better for Saturday but still a no for RIC. Shows us getting 2-3” today. We’ll see
  21. Looks like today is going to bust for our friends to the north. See what happens here
