WDBJ7 in Roanoke gave a great explanation on why the lull out west. The Blacksburg radar is down for maintenance so thats why we're not seeing precipitation out west.

local mets are saying we will see a lull and then more precipitation later. That's a model bust because none of them had a dry slot
