Once again it’s the battle between the American and the Euro. American favors us for ice storm and big snows for the DMV while EURO is south and gives us more snow and some ice, more south. Which is it???

Euro continues to take small ticks south each run. Would gladly take that as it’s more snow and less ice. Yeah you would think this was a non event for the main thread folks because it’s quiet in there. I know they’re rooting hard for that north trend

It’s close to what the euro is showing too. Definitely something to watch. You’re talking down trees and power lines IF that were to verify

Also the same model that gave MD 2 feet of snow from the coastal couple weeks ago so again take with a grain of salt. Looking for trends

No but judging by comments in main thread it went south with the 2nd wave

Yeah taking it with a grain a salt because it’s not in range. It did give us some ice. No snow though until you get up near Fredericksburg

even if we do get say 4-6 and like a .10-.20 of ice, that will cause a lot of problems.

18z euro holds. 5-10 in metro RVA. Not sure if any ice is included. Don't have access to those maps

We're in that range now too where the euro usually performs pretty well.

Think euro ensembles are pretty decent for us. Several members out there with nice hits. The mean gives us 4-5

Haha yeah I did too but there’s no such thing. Hopefully we won’t have temp issues with this one. Per the euro, Friday doesn’t get above freezing and Thursday is around 32 most of the day

Saw that which I honestly would gladly take. Some of the weenies on the main thread make me laugh. They want storms to go south just so it can go north. They think every storm is going to go north when it’s south of them. Sometimes that does happen but not always

There’s a little trend going on on the euro. Tick south and a little colder each run. Could just be a temporary thing. Well see

Just saw that. Wow. Has to be extremely rare to get back to back ice storms

GFS now showing ice as well Thursday night-Friday morning. Between .10-.25
