Hi Wes! I believe the easiest (only?) way to do this is to go to the top of the screen when logged in, where your username/icon is. Just to the left of that, there's a "bell" icon, if you click on that you should be able to see a list of people who responded to you. If you click on any of them, it should take you directly to the comment in the thread it was made. Not sure how far back the list goes, but certainly enough to capture many of those notifications.

That was a great "little" event, which of course led into an amazing 2-week period of winter! I remember that being pronounced dead not long before it was going to occur, then about a couple of days out, it got resurrected! 6" cold powder where I was at in Silver Spring, MD at the time.

There's actually not much anywhere, even in the jackpot zones. Like the whole thing is just...dry.

Not really sure we can say that no matter how this turns out. Recall the 06Z and especially the 12Z GFS actually made a big move toward the heavier amounts area-wide, even farther north. If this goes back, it's just waffling, I'd hardly say it "led the way".

Cute photo!!! Dec. 26, 2010, correct? That's the "storm that nobody names" here in the DC area, we got zip from that while areas south of here and not far north got anywhere from a good amount of snow to a near HECS! I was actually visiting my parents up in Philly at that time for Christmas in 2010, and left the morning of the 26th because Philly was looking at getting pretty well hammered and I wanted to avoid driving in that. I think you all got 12"+ in the Philly area? (Depending on where in the city...my parents are in the Society Hill area, near South St.).

Actually I think the CRAS sort of got that Jan. 30, 2010 event right, pushing some of the heavier snow farther north? I think that's what gave it some undue "fame" back then. Oh and you're not supposed to state that day after Christmas storm by name...like Voldemort, you can't call it out directly in these parts!! LOL!!!!

So I come back in here, see the Euro results and think "Wow...it held, this is looking more locked in overall". And what do I read? Several comments complaining and tearing of hair that it's not a 20" monster here like it was at 00Z or whatever. Jesus people, get a grip (or a $138 steak served by Jesus, hahaha!). I couldn't believe how many downer and over-concerned posts there were after that run. Do we still have 5-posting in here at all? Fact is, at this point every major model is showing at least a warning level event area-wide. Even the "low end" CMC had ~6" or so. I'm speaking in general round terms here, not specific locations. It's looking more likely that we should all be in for a forum-wide 6-10" or 8-12" event, maybe with some more upside if things work out just right. Even if the phasing doesn't quite work out or is a bit messy. And we're talking cold powder here, people!! When's the last time we had anything like this? I'd say the 2016 blizzard. /end rant!

That's what kids are for!!! At least once they're old enough. I had to shovel our driveway every winter in northeast Ohio, and believe me that was pretty darned often! Not that I minded since I've always loved snow. Of course, as soon as I went to college, my parents then got a snowblower!
