NAM literally hops over I85 with frontal snow then Bombs off the coast throwing snow even back towards Columbia. I currently live in no snow man's land. I'm about to vomit

Gotta love it how every time we get frozen precipitation in the vicinity a magical high pressure shows up and parks itself right over the Carolinas. That's our snow shield. This winter rocks!

I'll take member 31 and call it a decade. Upstate gets crushed while Raleigh gets another light dusting not even sure how a model can come to this solution. I bet there are zero historical snow maps that look like this.

Also with regards to areas like South Dakota getting snow when it's cold. They don't need as much of a cold press to get snow events. They can score with red anomaly maps
