I've seen it rip dendrites and pixies like this countless times before, but ripping aggregates like this is a new one.

Rip city in most of the metro now (Minus lake influenced areas). .

Looks like we have a 981MB SLP in E IL currently. So it most definitely will end up sub-980MB as it continues into IN/MI.

After wavering around the metro area for a while, the R/S line is finally crashing back southeastward. Areas closer to the lake in E Lake and Cook Co's will still have to fight the lake influence for a while longer though.

MDW was actually under better quality radar returns overnight. Additionally, RFD has a long history of measurement issues.

as nice as it would be to get the dog some guidance has shown, odds are this one will favor southeast of here, due to the evolution of things. sort of a late developer for here than you’d normally like to see.

For those keeping score locally... The 0z Euro also shifted SE, and keeps most of the metro all snow.

Nearly all guidance had some sort of lull swinging through during the late night/early morning.

Had just started to snow when I left ORD at 10. Got home a bit a go, and have solid SN here with fat aggregates falling.

Makes sense, it's starting to fill in on CC now.
