Wakefield for here. Seems optimistic but we will see. Quite windy now from the NE. Need to see it go NNE and North. Today Rain before 4pm, then rain, possibly mixed with snow. High near 44. North wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Tonight Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 10pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 32. Breezy, with a northwest wind 17 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Looking at everything this mornin im going with a trace south to 1-2 well north. South NN 3/4 of an inch. RIC the same

Wavy10 futurecast has it snowing from 530pm to 2 am but just 1-3 for most of the eastern shore

Yea, i think its another blizard warning that will be dropped soon for the eastern shore

Lets hope this is a storm that trends better and better up until go time unlike the last one that got further and further suppressed south.

They extended a storm watch for all the Peninsula. Just few miles east on the eastern shore a blizzard warning and across the JR a hazardous outlook. My best guess is they will extend things a little south and west tomorrow.

Luckily, Currituck did cash in!!

Where they were talking about blizzard warnings for SEVA and even right up to the snow starting they somehow had 3-7 for the Peninsula.

A period of very heavy wet snow. I have a feeling wakefield will be conservative this time after the last storm bust then play catch-up if they need to tomorrow.

So close in South NN i can see the warning snow, lol
