Its a device used by the board administration to weed out inadequate posters.  On the surface, it would appear that it *only* serves the purpose of limiting the number of times someone who has nothing to add to the discussion is allowed to add to the discussion.  However, the five post designation has a deeper, more important function...to subliminally convince the so designated poster of the inherent lack of value in his posts (as implied by the limitations imposed herein)...which will ultimately cause said poster to experience a pronounced epiphany (not really like the one realized in Dostoyevsky's Crime & Punishment)...one in which he realizes that his reduced status on the board is one in which he will almost never be able to lift himself up from due to his own pronounced intellectual shortcomings...and he will consequently cease & desist from even sending forth five dispatches in a 24 hour interval...before ultimately ending all engagement with the board once and for all.

I see William/Pamela has made an appearance. Or whatever your real name is.

No reason to attack me like that, you don't know me like that lol all jokes aside don't ever come at me like that again. Again no deaths reported with this storm in the states- obviously the tropical rains caused the deaths in Costa Rica and Honduras and their mudslides this had the writing on the wall as a weak tropical system

Pretty good flooding in Biloxi. Rescues. Casinos and surrounding streets flooded out.

Yeah I've got Zoysia here. It's not the prettiest or the softest but it's more rugged.

You kidding? Zoysia is the best type of grass. Only portions of my yard are Zoysia. Sure it takes more time to green up in the spring and you need to thatch it good, but man when its green it is THICK

Since 1851, NC has experienced 52 hurricane impacts or about 1 every 3.2 years.

Thanks Don. Looks like those barrier islands have somehow managed to survive all these years despite frequent canes.

My favorite spot down there is Pea Island. Miles of desolate beach along the highway. Plenty of spots to get out of the car and pick a spot for the day. Often you can't see anyone.
