Another 89 added to the list, this makes 5.
I’ve had 11 90+ days so far. Not sure what’s considered normal here, LI climo is a bit quirky.
87 here, normal varies wildly on the island, really need to be location specific to the mile for that number

Another case of a 'dry' period ending with a 5 -6 week deluge. Miami type pattern since mid July. More heat wed - sat.
Was just in Miami. It rained everyday for an hour then cooled off and was sunny

Been there, done that. You might have a window later this afternoon but it's not looking great. I find that traveling too and from Florida, it's best to have the first flight. After that, they're all a crap shoot this time of the year.
Yea I’m not a morning person so I get later flights. Starting raining early today at 9:30 which isn’t normal, every other day rain started after 2

Heavy rain here in Fort Lauderdale too and flight home is delayed. Long day incoming

Back in early July they were right around 80 also. That is pretty much the warmest that I have seen at those bouys. Miami is probably one of my favorite places to visit in Florida. Once I stayed at the old Americana hotel on the north side of Miami Beach. The Miami skyline keeps getting higher with all the new towers going up. Have a great time.
Yea it will be nice. Going without the wife and kids to see an old buddy of mine and my dad who lives down there. Plan on drinking, eating, boating and relaxing. The past few weeks have prepared me for the Miami Heat

Impressive. I wonder what the average peak temp for the ocean waters is.
Headed to Miami this week and I can’t wait to get in that bathtub

I’m on the sand in Long Beach. It would be tough with a 10 month old today. Although everything is probably tougher with a 10 month old
Went to the pool instead...much better choice

They should. Siting guidelines state that a station should be situated over terrain which represents the general area of the station. Therefore EWR and LGA are proper citings, as they reflect the concrete jungle, while the Park represents Dutchess County, even though it is the official reading for the nearly total concrete Manhattan. To be entirely accurate, the sensor should be placed in the middle of Park Avenue...
