Had a lull in precip now back to light snow. -
Interesting to see the variation across the county. Home now, and all snow still.

Got caught again. Happened with the icing even a few weeks back too. I’d sure hate to be a bus driver taking a bus down into vein mtn in a few mins.

Shocked when I pulled up the Banner Elk 184 cam, no accumulation whatsoever.

Outside isolated 5000 feet locations, a dusting to 2 (may be too high) is probable.

Not going to amount to much in the high country it appears. Precip rapidly shutting off on the NW side. Who would have thought the foothills and upstate SC, NE GA would be the winners.

I think you see some for sure. That batch in Elbert GA is ticketed for you. Looks like snow already breaking out over the Saluda grade.

3k NAM with a warning shot. Minimal precip back into WNC. Significant East shift.

NAM coming in about 3 degrees colder than its last run. 33 here at the height of precip and showing snow. HRRR is usually pretty torchy at 2m.
