  1. I’m still thinking the hottest stretch of the summer relative to climo is yet to come .. Aug 15 - Sept 10 Primarily WAR driven, but potentially a piece of the western heat gets delivered here “over the top” very end of Aug / early Sept
  2. I was skeptical of the 75+ dews a couple days ago but looks like it is verifying
  3. def would be interested in reading the paper if you can find it!
  4. I don’t see prolonged big heat, but looks like pattern has changed to be more conducive for “pieces” of the big heat in the west to move east. At the same time, def some cooler airmasses modeled in Canada in the extended. IMO generally speaking, I see a pattern of 1-3 days of heat, couple days of seasonable weather and repeat for end of July / first half of August. I agree with the heat getting shunted more to the south and being more prolonged below our latitude. If there will be a more prolonged stretch of Hot weather, I think it is more likely mid-late Aug and from the WAR.
  5. Def concerning .. looks like it would be on a similar trajectory to the areas getting hit now in E CT and C MA
  6. Can confirm - I’m already at 1.76” so far today
  7. ORH is just under 8” for the month though .. if they manage to get 2”+ tomorrow it could be in play
  8. 0.5" from the storms last night, 0.62" so far today 6.99" MTD
  9. Looks more like heavy rain threat til the warm front can move back north .. and once that warm front surges north looks like we 70+ dews for the weekend.
  10. Good point - E CT / NW RI about to float away and incoming for ORH county Should be some impressive totals next 3-4 hours in this area
  11. WAR has been flexing more in the D6-10 range past couple days .. end of next week and next weekend looking toasty with dews
  12. Def not the best weather to be up in ogunquit for the weekend / 4th
  13. Only 0.15" so far today .. Just missed the ~2" amounts by 3-4 mi
