    Im in Kutztown visiting family from MD. Roads are an icy mess. Mix of sleet and freezing rain .

    Yea? I live in frederick. Visiting kutztown. Thought id see some holiday snow up here, but looking to be not the case. .

    Im just cursed. In Kutztown, PA for the holidays and also on the edge of decent snowfall here. 20 miles northwest and id be sitting pretty. Instead, looking like an inch followed by sleet. .

    Mcps closing some upcounty schools (like damascus hs and baker ms) while keeping others just on the 2 hour delay. That is a first… i think. .

    If we have high pressure in place to lock in the cold, everything is suppressed. When the high pressure recedes we get 34 degrees and rain. Dc metro is just brutal for snow lovers. .
