  2. Snow was mixing back in but back to all sleet/rain
  3. Seems like all sleet here? Was in a lull
  4. Grass is whitening now. Sticking to deck too
  5. Snow picking up now. Best rates so far. No stickage yet.
  6. Wife said its snowing again at home at a decent rate.
  7. Roads were a little icy in Frederick leaving for work. Make into Leesburg and nothing on the ground. I still find it amazing how 20-30 miles makes all the difference.
  8. In Frederick city. Woke up this morning to mostly freezing rain. Big flakes slowly taking over.
  9. Heavy snow with some sleet. Everything cornered quickly. Roads are bad
  10. Good stuff here in Frederick as other posters have said. Also, is radar scope really worth the $10? Do I have to buy any other subscriptions?
  11. To my untrained eyes, the 500 heights on the 72 hour Euro appear better, no?
  12. Can't wait. I work in downtown Leesburg and live just north of the Rt 15/26 split. Will be a fun drive home. Can't leave until 4.
  13. This is from my home weather station in Frederick. You can see when the snow finally started falling with the drop in the temps and the rise in the dew point. Looks like it won’t be getting much colder.
  14. Here is a picture of the caves roads in downtown Leesburg.
  15. The roads here at work in Leesburg are too warm for the snow to stick!!! (Sarcasm). Moderate snow and roads caving.
  16. I have a small Japanese maple as well as a red bud in the backyard. Neither have started to drop leaves yet. The front doesn’t have problems with any leaves. I faked the front yard last weekend pretty well and was surprised to see the soil was covered by a nice layer of moss. I plan on taking the front yard again this weekend to get the remaining moss up and then throw down the grass seed. I did put fertilizer down in the front at the same time as I did the backyard
  17. With the turn to fall weather coming this weekend, is it too late to throw grass seed down in a yard with a thin lawn? It is a relatively small front yard as it is a townhouse, and the yard gets full afternoon sun. In the backyard, I put down a large amount of grass seed, new lawn fertilizer with weed preventative, and covered it with straw last weekend. The seed has germinated nicely, and is now almost 2ish inches in height.
  18. Weather station close by my house has 10.09 for September, and 71.24" for the year.
  19. The rain here in frederick is crazy. I have a video of the hail from last night but can’t post due to file size limitations.
