    Getting a little worried about tonight. Nam 3k shows long stretch of freezing rain. Roads are going to be an absolute mess, and my neighborhood doesn't have a good history of power outages.

    Down here in Midlothian, I must be firmly in the warm nose aloft. Every time the darker returns get near me I hear pingers. When I go check outside, sometimes there's more sleet than snow. Less than an inch of snow on the back porch right now, but I bet it's a half inch of sleet at least.

    That's the great thing about rain before snow, if it gets below freezing, the snow sticks to absolutely everything.

    Pretty heavy sleet in Midlo. Looks like Chesterfield County/Henrico/Richmond might be where the mix line is right now. I haven't seen a real snowflake yet.

    Not a dang thing here in Midlothian but a wet back porch and some mist/random flurries. It's 32 degrees, though.

    Not sure it's a dry slot so much as it's just the moisture hitting the mountains and stopping, if that makes sense. I don't know how to put it in weathery terms.
