Stillers have too many players that play stupid...First it was Antonio Clown, then JuJu and his stupid midfield dance shit and Claypool is right there with them. Hate it.
23-0 when I left Philly. 29-0 when I got to Wawa in Longwood PA on the way home. I got to Gap 25 minutes later, it was 29-20. Got home in time to see a potential overtime-sending TD knocked out of 'Muth's hands in the endzone as the gun expired.
THAT close to the biggest 2nd half comeback in the history of the NFL. It would have been a bigger comeback than the Bills-Oilers game in Buffalo.
My understanding coming into this winter season was that a lot of the snow we do get would likely result from cutting storms that produced snow to mix to rain scenarios. I think most experts are saying this will be a season full of cutters.
We might really struggle for pure snow events.
I had one 12' plus storm in the 70s. I think one, two at the most in the 80s. 2 more in the 90s. Since 2000 - there's been at least 7 off the top of my head.
The frequency has increased.
Sort of agree - some of our biggest storms have come in deep, fresh arctic air, however. '96 I was ripping snow at 10 degrees. '83 was just as cold, and I think 2003 was really cold as well.
The fact that there's more than an hour between posts in the December medium-long range thread to our south says everything you need to know about the pattern.
I must be getting old. Looking at the projected temps ahead of us and I find myself almost looking forward to it. What I want isn't going to change the weather regardless.
