  1. 23 for the low here this morning. Cold weather coming is going to feel not-so-great after the last few days. (and today and tomorrow)
  2. He's certainly elevated his game this season. I'd like to see him reduce his turnovers but otherwise he's about as complete a player that a 7' can be.
  3. Embiid has slowly made me a believer this year. He's been incredible for the past 20-25 games. As you said, he's still improving. He's the song that went from #9 to #2 on the Billboard chart this season while Harden has gone from #5 to #13. And that might be generous. Embiid has been so good he's even played spectacularly when I'm in attendance. That alone makes him MVP worthy.
  4. Correct. Local Fuddrucker's have added that to their menu. The Nothingburger is a bun of your choice with Spring lettuce, tomato, and other spring veggies. And nothing else.
  5. That's exactly why I hated they got rid of Drummond. Terrible mistake.
  6. Brooklyn comes to town on March 10th - last night tickets could be had on Ticket Exchange starting at $22. About an hour ago the cheapest tickets are now $125. I sold my Warriors tickets for $90 a piece...this game is too juicy for me to sell, as tempting as it is. Simmons first game back in Philly? I'm going to be there.
  7. I'm processing what just happened. We gave up a lot - I really liked Drummond. Active hands and ended most games with higher +/- rating than Embiid, believe it or not. We will miss him more than most think. Curry? Meh. Wouldn't mind of keeping him but I'm not sweating his departure. But then the 2 1st round picks. Don't like that either. Never been a Harden fan. Time will ultimately tell how good of a trade this is. First reaction? We gave up a lot for a guy Harden's age that is a little too one dimensional for my liking.
  8. Ruh roh. Ralph Wiggum has surrendered. He waved the white flag this morning in the Philly thread. Absolutely no point in checking in here until next winter.
  9. Trust me, I'm well aware of March snows. I can recall at least 7-8 March storms of 1'+ storms. I also have painful memories of how quickly said snows disappear. (with a few notable exceptions) One of my favorite storms ever was in April 1982. 9" of pure powder with incredible drifting.
  10. I got down to 32, was surprised it was clear this morning as I was expecting some clouds and perhaps even a shower. Jon, I feel exactly the same way. Not sure why I feel ready for spring...but I kind of do. And despite how bleak things may look for the foreseeable future, we both know well enough that the moment we call off the dogs on winter, it'll come back and get us. Way too soon to say it's over definitively.
  11. MU Tweet this morning: Our season-to-date snowfall total at @millersvilleu is 7.9" through February 10. Assuming we get no snow through Saturday, we'll be at a measly 43% of normal, which is ~18.3" through Feb. 12.
  12. March is such a hard month to figure - anything really is plausible. I could totally see the blinds being completely shut the entire month, and I could also see a mid-month bomb that has all of us wondering "where has this been all winter?" March might be the most difficult month to guess what will happen several weeks out.
  13. And there it is! Bryan Anger punts for 43 yards, downed at the 2 yard line!
  14. I feel baited. The answer however is no. Not sure I'll survive without it tomorrow and Saturday...
  15. Someone called? Hey, we've relaxed the attire here in the office sometime ago, but I still have to wear jeans. I got home at 4:30 yesterday. At 4:35 I was in shorts and on my way to the trail with my wife.
  16. I sure hope not. Not enthused for a 32 year old shooter who historically waves a red cape on defense. I will not be happy if it happens. Much better options out there for this team.
  17. Playing devil's advocate - can he bump your post if it doesn't snow again this winter?
  18. Good read for the weekend threat: (and to Nut's point earlier - this might be one of, it not our last true hurrah...) https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  19. AC will be running VERY soon. (Friday and Saturday)
